A perfect protein to eat when watching your favorite football team.
We love to bake these chicken wings that come out crispy and perfect for those fall/winter nights when you are watching football.
"Crispy and Crunchy"
Let's do this! Time: Prep 5 minutes, Cooking Time: 60 minutes
Ingredients
2-4 lbs of chicken wings
2 tbsp of onion powder
2 tbsp of garlic powder
2 tbsp of lemon pepper
Salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Preheat the oven to 275 degrees
Place chicken wings into a bowl and rub with paper towel to remove excess moisture.
Add dry ingredients together in a small bowl, mix, and pour on top of chicken wings. Use plastic gloves to mix well onto chicken. Repeat with dry ingredients, until seasoned to your liking.
Place chicken on baking sheet, lined with aluminum foil, and cookie racks.
Roast chicken at 275 degrees for 30 minutes. Raise the temperature to 375 for 10 minutes, then raise to 400 degrees for last 15 minutes.
Enjoy!
“Yummy!”
The low and slow technique helps your chicken to get crispy and crunchy without frying them. We start at a low temperature to render out the fat, to get that crunchy texture. Then we raise the temperature as we go, until the chicken is nice and crispy.
